Live Twenty 20 World Cup - Flintoff Will be Available For T20 World Cup

Andrew Flintoff left Chennai Super Kings in the Mid Way Due to knee operation and would be fit for the Twenty 20World Cup.

The ECB said it expected Flintoff to make a "normal recovery" and that he should be available for the World Twenty20, which starts in England on June 5 and the subsequent Ashes series against Australia beginning in July.

With the Success of Surgery Flintoff is confident that he will be ready to play in the inaugural tournament

Flintoff won't be playing for two Tests and three one-dayers against West Indies
.

ICC Twenty 20 World Cup | Andrew Flintoff Skipper For T20 World Cup

Andrew Flintoff names Skipper for the ICC Twenty20 World Cup which start in June as England are the Host.

Andrew Strauss out of the squad for the tournament, Strauss will carry on leading the Test and one-day side this summer but not for the T20 event , Strauss with his match-winning 79 from 61 balls against West Indies last week, helping England win their first one-day series in the Caribbean.

England selector Geoff Miller said ""There are loads of options for us to go down, Andrew is one of them,"

The squad will be reduced to 15 ahead of the tournament following consultation with a new team director, with acting coach Andy Flower.

Defending Champion India have already preparing for the Twenty20 World Cup in England in June.

Indian Skipper Mahindra Singh Dhoni won the Twenty20 world Cup in South Africa, India have named preliminary squad for the World Cup.

The Most Dangerous Batsmen Virender Sehwag and off spinner Harbhajan Singh are the only senior player in the Squad.

30-man squad which will be reduced to 15 before the tournament.
