Earlier West Indies won the toss and elected to field, Sri Lanka took the advantage of the situation, Man-of-the-match Tillakaratne Dilshan gave a good start he missed by 4 runs of the first century of the tournament, batting through the innings to finish on 96 not out from 57 balls in Sri Lanka's 158 for five.
Chris Gayle played a captain knock with no support from other end.
